So right now I am working on my mother's mother's family tree. That is pretty much the Sumptons and my Gooreng Gooreng family. This includes many of the descendents of Margaret Grant, known as Maggie or Princess Margaret/Maggie (her father had a king plate, I can tell you more if you like but you will have to tell me who you are and why you want to know). Margaret's children were Florence (Welldon), Alice (Mathews), Peter, William Archer aka Bounder (Williams, YowYeh, Silvester), Richard, Frances aka Fanny (Thompson), John, and my Nan's mum Ellen aka Nellie.

My Mother's Father's family are the Kiellys. A cousin has apparently done all the work on this family tree already and so I will get that one day (it is held by a cousin I do not know so it will take time). They came from Clare Inish and County Clare. More to come.

My Father's family are the Woolfords. I have a good deal on them already and once again much has apperently already been done (this time by a great aunty). My Great Great grandfather came accross from Marseille, France. He apprenticed as a watchmaker in Paris and was fleeing the Franco-Prussian War. Now there are Woolfords all over Australia (and their descendents). Don't be confused by the South Australian Woolfords, they changed their name from Woolfolk late in the 19th century to Woolford. To confuse matters there are also my family Woolfords in SA too. I have received some information from Chris Fairhill for which I am very grateful. My pop in Newcastle (most of the family live in Melbourne, as is the great aunt I mentioned) has lots of documents and photos. I am going to go down and scan them all in and record what I can in the near future.
